Is-sinjal għal TELEFON PUBBLIKU għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal TELEFON. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ Y u titqiegħed mal-ġenb tal-wiċċ. (ii) Fit-tieni parti id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ T fuq quddiem bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id tagħti xi skoss żgħir ’l isfel mill-polz qisu qed iddaħħal munita ġol-kaxxa tat-telefon.
The sign for PAYPHONE consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for TELEPHONE. One hand takes the shape of Y and is placed at the side of the face. (ii) The second part is made with one hand in the shape of T at the front with the palm facing downwards. The hand makes a jerky movement downwards from the wrist as though placing a coin into the payphone.
